Seeking eBook recommendations for New Zealand

by Ciara | Posted in Booklust, Wanderlust   6 Comments »

Help! I need to stock up my Stanza iPhone library for my upcoming trip to New Zealand (April 10-21). Since Mr. Wonderful and I are going backpacking, I can’t pack too many paperbacks. On the other hand, there may not be a place to plug in my iPhone. When someone invents an ebook reader that doesn’t need batteries (or one that lasts a week without being plugged in), I’ll be the first in line.

What eBooks can you recommend?

Extra points if the book has: werewolves, babies or New Zealand settings. (Super prize if it has all three!)

Yesterday I read Wolf Signs by Vivienne Arend, which was on sale at Books on Board. Yum!

If Nalini Singh hasn’t set any of her stories in NZ, I will be disappointed.

I can’t think of any that take place in New Zealand, but werewolves I can do.

Regina in the Sun & Lux by R.G. Alexander
    (vampires and werewolves)

    Lunewulf series by: Lorie O’Clare

Tales of the Were- Bianca D’Arc

Moon Lust Series- Sherri L. King

    Seeing Eye Mate- Annmarie McKenna

Hope you have a fun trip. :)

Hi! I found your site from The Book Smugglers and thought I would recommend some of my favorites.

Savage Retribution – Lexxie Couper (takes place in Australia)

Pack Challenge – Shelly Laurenston (Go Fetch and Here Kitty Kitty are part of this series, and they HILARIOUS)

Dragon Actually and About a Dragon – G. A. Aiken (It has dragon shifters, but they are really good, and funny)

Deadly Submission – Desiree Gelsi (this is one of my favorites, I wish I would be kidnapped by a scary alpha wolf…yum)

Anything by Bianca D’Arc, I haven’t read a bad one from her.

Have you read SheWolf by Teresa D’Amario?

Do you enjoy M/M? I know a few good M/M werewolf stories. :)

    Thank you!!!

Marci – yes, SheWolf was great. I haven’t read much M/M, but I would love good recommendations, especially with werewolves. Thanks!

I’m not sure what format you can load onto your iphone but you can find all new releases at Books on Board. If I can’t get to the bookstore I go here to buy my books. Also tons of books at Mybookstoreandmore.com.
