Our beautiful baby girl was born Saturday, March 27th at 9:41 am. She was 6 lbs 1 oz and 18.5 inches long. We are healthy and doing well (but could use a lot more sleep!).

    p.s. I LOVE her name! *_*

Oooh, I love the name Olivia! When my Lil’ Sis and brother-in-law were arguing over what to name their baby, I tossed out Olivia (and was vetoed – oh well!).

Super-duper congratulations are in order. I guess this answers the question of whether or not I’ll be seeing you at RWA this summer, huh? :)

  5. Renee Says:

    Oh, she’s beautiful!

    Congrats, Ciara. :-)

  6. Gwen Says:

Congratulations again, Ciara! What an exquisite little angel – love the pic. Blessings on your family!

  8. Tracy Says:

As I’ve said before, she’s adorable! Congratulations once again.

It’s so funny…my oldest daughter’s middle name is Olivia and Juniper was born on my hubby’s b-day. Funny how that works, isn’t it?

I remember right after my youngest was born a lady asked me her name and when I told her the first name she said – omg that’s my daughter’s name and they ended up being born on the same day! :)

Thanks everyone! There are more photos on facebook. Juniper was a somewhat popular name in the middle ages and there are two Saint Junipers. It was more common as a boy name, but we think it makes a much better girls name.

Tracy – too funny! Olivia is for my little brother Oliver, who is named after my great-grandfather. Author Linda Winstead Jones’ birthday is the same day too.

Wendy – I always thought I’d name my daughter Olivia, but then it got super popular. I think it’s lovely and it’s a family name. I’m still deciding whether it makes sense to go to RWA this year. I think it would be too difficult to bring her and try to breastfeed between sessions. Next year in NY I’ll definitely go!

Ciara! What a lovely name and what a beautiful little girl. Congratulations!
